ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. – Authorities say a northern New Jersey man posed as his fictitious, blind twin brother in a bid to delay court hearings on several motor vehicle summonses.
Olawale Agoro, of Hackensack, now faces charges of hindering apprehension, false swearing and resisting arrest.
Rochelle Park police tell The Record that Agoro received five summonses during a July 31 traffic stop. But during a September court appearance, authorities say the 58-year-old Agoro claimed to be his twin brother “Tony.”
Suspicious of the claims, the officer who issued the tickets saw Agoro driving later that day and issued him three more tickets.
Agoro then allegedly twice got adjournments after “Tony” sought them from court clerks.
A telephone number for him couldn’t be located Saturday, and it wasn’t known if he’s retained an attorney.

He pulls this crap and I’m the evil twin? Uh, I’m not the one in court, bro.
Just because I’m a fake twin doesn’t mean the pain I feel from his betrayals isn’t real. Getting sooooo tired of his crap.
It’s like the time he allegedly stole my identity, and ran up a bunch of credit cards that he opened in my fake name. I say allegedly because I was never able to prove it was him. But c’mon, who else knows my fake DOB and fake social security number?
I’ll tell you who—the same guy who pretended to be me and slept with my fake girlfriend in college. And she was SO hot! Hotter than you can ever imagine.
It’s the same thing over and over with my fake brother. Look at our vacation home on Block Island. Well, I’d like to take you so you could look at it but I can’t because he screwed me out of the fake vacation home that had been in our fake family for years!
And nobody’s ever bought his blind act. Two reasons: A) He’s a terrible actor and B) I’m NOT BLIND! I may be fake but even I can see what’ s going on here.
I get so mad at him. But if our shared history is any indication, I’ll eventually get over it, forgive him. I’m mean, when it comes to fake family, you have to keep it real.
